Being away from home, away from the comfort zone for such a long period of time is already quite a thrilling experience for me. what made this whole lot of experience even more worth remembering is being sick in this foreign country.
its been 3 months here in Guilin, China. Hiccups along the way isn't that of a surprising thing.
i was admitted to the hospital here in Guilin..one of the best hospital in guilin.. which offers me A class wards that i got to pay 25000RMB for, which totally look like a 4 star hotel room... like what ive mention being sick overseas is extremely scary.. because right here. the way they diagnores your illness. you will be in doubt and it just doesn't stop you from wondering if that DOCTOR has liscenses. like in the hospital in HuaJian(a small little part of Guilin).. i had very terrible stomache and went there to see the doctor... after doing an examination, the doctor said that ive got some INTESTINE problem and i need to go for an OPERATION! WAD?! NO WAY am i going to have a operation man! who knows if the equipments they use will kill me with pain.. maybe they don't even have anesthestic.. and i have to suffer the pain of slicing my stomach and the pulling of intestine!! ewww.. its damn gross...and to let you all know.. the nurses and doctors in China only knows how to put people on DRIPS. im sure that the nurses are taught different ways to insert the needles into veins so as to minimise the pain. or those nurses have to go through levels of lessons just to know how to put patients on drips!!9 out of 10 people who walk into the hospital will end up having a drip! a patient with a broken leg has to be put on drips. whatever illness its DRIPS!! and throughout my days in one of the best hospital in Guilin, i was of course on drips that i lost count of the number of bottles i drip. i only remembered being on drip for the whole day since 5am till 8pm in the night.. more than 10 HOURS!! powerful huh?
recently, sinyee went for a drip. well thats because she was unwell.. and in this hospital that we went. there were long poles hanging down( like the ones in the picture). this is where the bottles of drips are hang.. and then you sit on the chair( those that sinyee and i are sitting) and you wait for your bottle of drip to end.....

a word of advice: when you are away from the place call HOME.. PLEASE take GOOD CARE of yourself...
